L. Joe Edmondson, CPA has been a public accountant for over forty years. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama, Joe joined the Nashville office of an international certified public accounting firm for the first sixteen years of his career prior to forming Marlin & Edmondson, P.C. in 1976. Jeff Betzler, CPA has been in public accounting since he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University in 1986. Timothy L. Montgomery, CPA has been in public accounting since he earned his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University in 1987. He served as manager of Marlin & Edmondson, P.C. before joining Dempsey, Vantrease & Follis, PLLC in 1993 where he rose to the rank of Partner in Charge of the audit division. Tim's experience includes planning and performing audit engagements for companies varying in size. He also has a wide range of tax experience with individual, partnership, corporate and non-profit information returns. Tim's experience includes work with a variety of industries, including construction, health care, real estate, professional services, manufacturing, all types of non-profit and governmental organizations, including those with single audits and employee benefit plans.
